JOB DESCRIPTION 

  • An ability to communicate effectively with colleagues, clients, and other members of the public of all age groups and social backgrounds.
  • Sound working knowledge of higher education and vocational education in Australia and regulatory compliance requirements.
  • A high level of proficiency in computer usage including Microsoft Word, Excel, and Windows operating systems and Student/Course Administration systems.
  • Contribute to improvements and innovation in student support programs.

DESIRED CANDIDATE PROFILE

ROLE OF POSITION

The GTE Officer will work closely with the internal admissions team (Onshore & Offshore) to streamline the policies/procedures and workflow for GTE in specific.

The post holder will coordinate and communicate with the partnered agents if required. He/she will work closely with the Line Manager. The ideal candidate should have a strong interest in working with people and be highly motivated and result orientated.


MAIN DUTIES : 
  • Assessing GTE documents for partnered agents (Onshore & Offshore)
  • Working on PRISMS
  • Responsible for all Genuine Temporary Entrant documentation preparation
  • Conduct GTE sessions/webinars to partnered agents if required
  • Maintaining & manage accurate information with regards to the student on the CRM as per the SOP’s provided
  • Screening/Assessing the Statement of Purpose for the students
  • Ensure a positive and safe learning environment in accordance with VIT's policies procedures and regulatory bodies' standards frameworks for students.
  • Demonstrated customer service, interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to communicate across a diverse range of cultures.
  • Provide and maintain a range of effective student services that support the well-being of the students.
  • Manage the overall workflow within the area of student administration so that all functions are carried out in an efficient and effective manner.
  • Handle all enquiries pro-actively and in accordance with policies and procedures.
  • Effective maintenance and retention of student records and documentation.
  • Provide and maintain a range of effective student services that support the well-being of the students.
  • Provide effectively and timely administrative support to the Student Services and Academic Teams.

QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE REQUIRED : 
  • Graduation or Post Graduation in any field.
  • Expertise in student enrolment process for Australia.
  • Clear Understanding of the National Code 2018.
  • Further experience working with Higher education provider is mandatory.
  • Understanding of policies/procedures with regards to GTE is required.
  • At least 3 years' experience in Student Support working with international and domestic students.
